Paul has just turned seventeen and got a car, so now he gathers together all his courage and uses his new freedom to go to a meeting of the local Gay and Lesbian Youth Group. There he meets all sorts of new people, some nice, some very nice, and some not-so-nice, and as a result of that he has some adventures and some misadventures. A whole new aspect of Paul's life opens up and he begins to experience new emotions and new types of friendships. He tries to keep this new life secret from his family and straight friends, but what will happen when the two parts of his life collide? Perhaps he will eventually learn about love and thrue true meaning of friendship.
